Dear Families, please see below a summary of the curriculum for the term ahead. We will be posting lots of resources for home learning for your reference too.
If you have any animals at home, or you go on a bug hunt, please do send some pictures in as we’d love to share these with the class. Perhaps you would even like to draw a map of where you found any creatures in our lovely local area!
Home Learning Project
We would like to invite every child to design a salad as part of our Design Technology project. This can be presented in any way you would like. A photo of a real salad you have made, with a list of ingredients, a video of you making this. A piece of artwork depicting all the foods you have chosen. Let your culinary mind run wild together! Please could you send any photos/videos or drawings/recipes to school by Monday the 11th of July.

Pupils are assessed for Reading, Writing, Maths and Science in the Summer Term using the Statutory Assessments for Year 2. If you would like to practise any spelling with your child, please refer to the common exception words on page 10 of the Spelling Appendix.
