SEND

'Every child deserves a champion, an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists that they become the best they can possibly be' - Rita Pierson

At Ash School and Nursery we work hard to ensure every unique child flourishes in our inclusive school.

We pride ourselves on our creative approach to learning in every class.  Where a pupil may require additional support in any area of the curriculum, our SENCo Ms Megan Isaac supports class teachers and nursery staff to make adjustments for individuals or groups of children.

For any child who has more complex needs, we work hard with families and other professionals to create a child-centred plan that ensures progress.  We also train our staff on SEND regularly and seek specialist advice where this may be required.
