Paddington

We are so excited to be reading our new class text - Paddington! Over the next few weeks, we will be doing lots of wonderful writing based on Paddington and using Paddington to learn about toys in the past.

The Everywhere Bear

We loved reading 'The Everywhere Bear' by Julia Donaldson as our first class text. We decided that we would like to have our own class bear - so meet our Everywhere Bear! Cble to take turns taking the Everywhere Bear home for the weekend. To encourage reading at home, all children who have read at least three times with a grown-up at home will enter into a draw every Friday! If you are lucky enough to take the Everywhere Bear home, please send us in a picture of him reading so we can add it to our display!

Welcome to Saturn Class!

We are excited to welcome Year 1 and 2 to Saturn Class. What an exciting year we have ahead of us!

Our topic this term is called 'Toys- Then and Now'. We are going to be learning all about different types of toys and how they were different in the past. More information about our learning is available at the bottom of this page.

Our PE day will be on Friday. We will also be having our Forest School sessions on Fridays - information has gone out about the days your child will be attending. If you have any further questions, please see a member of our teaching team.
